Infor Helps Colliers CRE Keep a Roof on Costs

Infor today announced that Colliers CRE, one of the leading property consultancies in the UK, has completed its deployment of Infor Expense Management.

Expense Management will deliver substantial efficiencies to Colliers CRE. Previously, one staff member dedicated three days each week to complete the processing of paperwork and spreadsheets for the weekly expenses reimbursement of approximately £40,000.

Expense Management will deliver crucial control, as well as insight into the expenses incurred within client projects and by individual members of staff. Over time, Colliers CRE plans to use this information to reduce costs by identifying opportunities for negotiating preferred supplier discounts.

Infor Expense Management was chosen because of the advanced functionality of the system and its ability to integrate smoothly with Colliers CRE’s existing core systems, including the Infor FMS SunSystems accounting solution. Expense Management has already been integrated with staff and client databases and invoicing systems. Expense Management also receives a dedicated feed from Barclaycard which provides precise details of all transactions.

“We expect big changes as a result of cutting out the manual processes that our old system required,” explains Mark Sample, finance director, Colliers CRE. “Firstly we will have a member of staff able to focus on higher value work, but just as critical, we will be able to look at what is being spent where, how and by whom.”
