Lawson Poland Receives ‘European Medal for Services’

Warsaw, Poland, April 29, 2009 — Lawson Software today announced that Lawson Poland has recently been awarded with ‘The European Medal for Services” in the 18th edition of the referendum organized by the Business Center Club (BCC)*, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee for European Integration and this in recognition of Lawson’s implementation and maintenance services provided to its customers. This is a second award Lawson Poland has received recently in addition to the ‘Best Industrial IT Vendor 2008’ award from the editors of MSI Poland last month.

The European Medal highlights qualitative projects and promotes methods for quality development. Lawson Professional Services has been selected for ‘the way it helps implement, maintain and optimize IT solutions and brings value to its customers.’

The European Medal is a non-profit initiative that aims at supporting Polish products and services available on the EU market and promotes the European Union idea within the business environment. The medals are given to goods and services that meet EU standards and act as a public endorsement and appreciation from the Business Center Club, the Committee of European Integration and the European Economic and Social Committee which is a prestigious institution for entrepreneurs in the European Union. The European Medal is being granted to all types of organizations, including Polish producers, banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, industry leaders, IT&T companies as well as smaller local companies, universities and media.
