JDA Software Identified as the Most Recognized Merchandising Vendor

Scottsdale, Ariz. – April 22, 2009 – JDA® Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS) today announced it is the most recognized merchandising software vendor in a recent Forrester Research report1. The report addresses how retailers can – and should – overhaul their merchandising processes to remain viable in a fiercely competitive marketplace. As part of the report, Forrester surveyed global retailers on various aspects of their merchandise planning processes, including vendor selection. Forty-nine percent of the survey respondents indicated that they had selected or will evaluate JDA’s merchandising software solution offerings2, topping the list over all vendors named.
