Infor Appoints New Leader for Channel Sales in Asia Pacific

Infor today announced the appointment of Wilson Chu to vice president, Channel Sales for Asia Pacific (APAC). The new position was created to manage Infor's growing indirect sales presence in APAC, a significant contributor to revenue and new customers for the company. The appointment also underscores the growth of Infor's worldwide channel partner program.

Based in Hong Kong, Chu assumes revenue and field management responsibility for Infor's channel programs in APAC. He is charged with expanding the company's channel partner footprint across the region to maximize indirect revenue opportunities. He reports to Lawrence Chan, president, Asia Pacific, and is closely aligned to country sales leaders within the region as well as Infor's global channel sales organization.

An industry veteran with a track record spanning more than 20 years, Chu previously led sales, channel operations, and various business functions at Kenexa Asia, Airzip Asia Pacific, and Compaq Computer, among other firms. Most recently, he served as general manager at Kenexa Asia Pacific, where he helped grow the Human Capital Management software and services provider from a start-up into a 500-person team. Prior to Kenexa, he founded Airzip Asia Pacific, a market leader in computer security solutions since 2002.

Chu holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Hawaii and an MBA from the Chaminade University of Honolulu in Hawaii.
