Intuit Town Hall Forum to Help Small Businesses Navigate Stimulus Bill

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif – Mar. 04, 2009 – Small businesses can get an in-depth understanding of how the recently signed economic stimulus bill can benefit them at an online Town Hall forum on March 5, hosted by Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU).

As part of the company's Small Business United initiative, the forum will bring together experts to discuss how small businesses can succeed in the economic downturn and take advantage of what the stimulus package has to offer. The event begins at 12 p.m. Pacific time.

Raymond Keating, author and chief economist of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council, will open the session by discussing the major points affecting small businesses in the stimulus bill. Keating writes and speaks on a wide range of issues affecting the entrepreneurial sector of the economy, including a weekly newspaper column for the Long Island Business News and Dolan Media Co. He will be joined by other experts to offer their perspectives and answer attendees’ questions, including:

Anita Campbell, CEO of Small Business Trends, an award-winning Web site that provides information and intelligence about the small business market and business trends that affect it.
John Jantsch, marketing and digital technology coach, award-winning social media publisher and author of “Duct Tape Marketing: The World’s Most Practical Small Business Marketing Guide.”
Kelly Spors, small business columnist at the Wall Street Journal and lead writer for the blog: Independent Street. Her “Small Talk” column gives expert advice to readers’ questions on starting or running a small business.
