Best solution is to create back up files every day.we always keep backup of last one week If you can also generate mirror copy of database at some other location.for at natural disaster you can get access of database.do maintenance of hardware regularly.

A disaster recovery strategy for ERP data is one of the most important plans a business can implement. Hackers and natural disasters are real threats: To protect against them, a company must have a well-organized plan that includes frequently scheduled back-ups, ideally on a nightly basis, to a server or data storage device in an off-site location. This will enable you to quickly restore your valuable ERP data if your hardware is ever damaged beyond repair. When choosing a hosted solution, find out if the vendor offers a 24 x 7 monitoring plan that combines software with dynamic alert capabilities and around-the-clock technical support that will allow you to troubleshoot and correct any hardware failures they very moment they arise.
