Cloud ERP software provider, Acumatica, has announced the availability of BV Commerce for Acumatica, an eCommerce solution from BV Software that is now integrated with Acumatica’s Cloud ERP platform.

When leveraging this new solution, ERP customers can easily create complete eCommerce websites offering shopping cart capabilities.

The sites will also integrate Acumatica accounting, financial, inventory and ordering models all delivered through a single interface with direct access to online and traditional sales information.

ERP customers can enjoy specific features put in place to help drive success with online stores. The solution is designed to improve the shopping experience as a result of extensive search and purchasing capabilities as customers can filter through thousands of products and easily complete purchases.

The availability of a developer kit ensures companies can have complete control over the appearance and functionality of their websites. ERP customers can easily add, delete or change elements within the site without changing source code. The plug-ins allow the company to add features such as shipping modules and business rules to the core software.

Scott Crowe, Director for One Harvest Food Ministries, leveraged this latest Acumatica solution and noted that the integration between the Acumatica ERP system and BV Commerce is a powerful combination that enables the organization to eliminate dual order entry and save money by automating order processing. Customers now enjoy a positive shopping experience, while the potential for order entry errors is removed.

ERP customers can also leverage this integration to take advantage of robust capabilities that make purchasing online easier, without relinquishing control over the selling process. All orders completed through the new shopping cart are immediately available in the Acumatica platform to provide the traditional and online sales view. And, any new customers registering online are automatically updated in the ERP system so they can immediately start making purchases.
