Last week, Hard Dollar announced the release of an “Advanced Progress Tracking” module for their project cost management platform. Hard Dollar specializes in ERP solutions for the construction industry, and has offerings for several verticals within that industry, like mining, and oil & gas.

The Advanced Progress Tracking offering will create instant visibility into progress and performance on planned activities, and provide side-by-side comparisons of the most critical factors affecting a particular project’s success. In addition, it offers real-time cost information and productivity status, and direct integration into finance applications. Hard Dollar estimates users will increase profits %9 through use of the new module.

The new progress-tracking module is scalable for companies and projects of all sizes, and the simply UI and new visibility make the management process more efficient for owners and construction managers. It also offers remote data collection and timesheets from the field, and reports can be issued daily for incremental progress reports. As a bonus, the new module can also analyze data from past projects, to help with decision making moving forward.
It’s always nice to see ERP and project management integrating real-time technology, and it’s interesting that it really can be helpful in managing just about every vertical.
